A short and hopefully insightful documentary/personal reflection piece submitted as a re-sit for my 1st-year Film & TV production module in university. I had help with camerawork and editing from my father, Dean.

Cameras used were a Panasonic HD digital vid cam, and Canon 5D MarkII.
Used Glide track, Tripod and Crane.

Locations in Cairngorm national park, Highland, Scotland.

Note: This has been edited to fit the under 4-min time requirement for the uni's module brief, so some parts may appear slightly rushed - but I think we did a good job of fitting it all in.

@03:58Very good film. You brought up many good points. And as a boring American i must say your accent made the film for me even more enjoyable. As silly as that sounds. :D

@03:58I'm an independent filmmaker from the States, and this is a beautifully shot film. I visited Scotland after high school and you've made me miss it greatly. I'm also highly jealous that you can get those kind of shots in your back yard (so to speak)

Ohhh dear, your video is just amazing! However, I think you may be very sad... I may be wrong here, this is only my personal feeling. You look very lonely person and a bit lost in the research of pure love. Well basically I created my profile only to write you down this few lines. Anyway I wish you all the best in your life. You are great person! Thank you for this video. :Love Dazed:

Hehe... It's a sweet analogy but I'm afraid that's not the case... I've been with the love of my life for nearly a year now - in fact, he's probably the reason I was able to go into such depth of thought in this film. :) I rarely feel lonely either. I'm a very contented person and this video was intended to convey that I truly value what makes me happy. I wear my heart on my sleeve :blushes:
Either way - thank you most sincerely for your kind compliment. Much appreciated. x

@03:58Never in my 15 years of living have I ever seen a video that once made me rethink what I see as Joy to me.

This is a truly outstanding video, and when she said "Just a thought", I could not help but smile and giggle a bit. This is truly an outstanding video and I just cannot stress that enough. The way that you presented it was also amazing.

The scenes, or areas, that you chose for the video were ASTOUNDING and not to mention beautiful. Everything you said and did just fit together perfectly. I am so glad this got a DD, because it truly deserved it.

@03:49Congratulations, Cairisti. You made the best video I've seen in a long time.

I had a friend called Joy once and I named my best friend Joy, too. And I think I know what do you mean by this video.

Joy isn't something you grab for, it is something you have to wait to have. But you can find it everywhere - from nature, movies, pepole, just the life itself. You managed to prove your point very well and powerfully.

I shall say that the tehnical part is great, too. The voice is calm, clear and doesn't rush. The video looks very good, the quality is definately high.

So, what I want to say, is that this video is great.
